"Living up to their name, MS Swiss Sapphire and her sister ships glitter along with the legendary lights of Paris in their new home on the waters of the River Seine."
One of the Jewel-class riverboats, MS Swiss Sapphire accommodates no more than 118 guests. Similar-sized riverboats average at around 160, making the space-per-guest ratio aboard a Tauck riverboat simply refreshing.
From her panoramic restaurant and public spaces, you’ll enjoy gorgeous views along the storied waterway as she cruises to explore rural Etretat, Calvados country and the abbeys of Breuil-en-Auge, Normandy’s beaches, Honfleur, Rouen and Monet’s Giverny. On board, relax outdoors on the Sun Deck or in one of the comfortable indoor communal areas.
Standard cabins stretch 150 square feet, and are cosy and comfortable, with 85% featuring floor-to-ceiling windows and balconies. Seven larger cabins weigh in at 183 square foot. 14 lush 300 square foot suites include brocade upholstery, roomy walk-in closets, spacious marble bathrooms with full-size tubs and two French balconies. All rooms come with in-room movies, minibar, adjustable heating and cooling, and private bathroom with Molton Brown toiletries.
Onboard entertainment includes enrichment lectures, piano music nightly, in-room movies, culinary demos, local entertainment and 'themed' fun. Life onboard the Sun Deck is simply glorious - relax in the jacuzzi with your new friends or simply sit and take in the riverside scenery.
